Fans of the franchise get a familiar feel with eerily simple opening credits and sequence but it’s quickly overshadowed by a a group of unremarkable characters that fail to establish a relationship with the audience. Save for the conflicted synthetic Andy which stays true to the franchises theme highlighting the “synthetic dilemma” vs the human need for superiority. Unfortunately though there is not enough xenomorph battling action scenes in this movie and it is hyper focused on ethical decision making instead of sci-fi space action. The last 30 minutes have its moments but I question the rewatchability of this one.
