I like all Lord of the Rings movies and Hobbit movies. But went in with open mind to watch the series on Amazon and I must say it was entertaining and captivating. Visuals are stunnt, acting good, story good. It will unravel in future episodes as always with any season. Looking forward to it. Keep your mind open and I at least am glad that we can have a series on the lines of original trilogy instead of having nothing for the rest of days.
