Whilst the TV show was fun to watch, I feel both David S. Goyer and Josh Friedman have never read the books.
Whilst there are some concepts which has been portrayed quite well. There are far more inconsistencies that make the whole TV series a completely different story.
I take my hat of to them for trying to replicate the galaxy Isaac Asimvo had created but I feel this was never achievable.
