When i first saw the early demo of happys humble burger farm game, I was somewhat curious about the janky, weird game with ps1 era visuals.. I assumed it was a 1 person indie game idea thrown onto pc for fun. I never would have guessed it was to become a full game made by multiple people that you have to pay money for. And now that its come out fully, I have to say I'm really disappointed and wish playstation store offered refunds. Happys humble burger farm is kind of a low effort mess.. and not a fun kind of mess.. it's mechanics are barely and poorly explained ( it only gives you the most bare basic instruction on how to do an order, leaving you to haphazardly figure out things and most likely restart ao you can complete a shift while actually somewhat understanding things.. i actually had to watch a walkthrough to figure out things since the developer was seemingly too lazy to make a tutorial or have on screen instructions on things.. at its heart its suppose to be burger restaurant simulator with horror elements and some weird conspiracy ( i think, the story isn't really explained...in fact not explaining things seems to be a running theme in general) .. its not actually scary though, i was just confused rather then actually scared at the janky monsters that randomly appear and sometimes explode into green gas that obscures your vision for a set amount if time.. i think other things happen as well, but after needing a video guide to know what and how to do things, the game freezing several times( requiring me to close the app on my ps4 and reopen it) and being bored, i ended up quitting the game and playing another better game instead, leaving me with a barely played $20 mess of game to fill up space on ny ps4.. avoid playing or wasting money on.
