Very entertaining, funny (like the books). The casting of characters was great, and right on, even managing to get Lula right. Debbie Reynolds was also right on target as Momma Mazur.
Those who complain about the movie not being as good as the book must understand that it would be well nigh impossible to pass the frenetic happenings of the book to the screen. As it is, they did a great job of actually following the book, rather than change a whole bunch of stuff in the plot.
