This movie has a beautiful message! One of the best of its kind. Yes, I highly recommend this film to anyone. It highlights a time of life when we come of age during our late teens and post high school. Young people in this age group can become confused and frankly fearful of what the future holds but at the same time want to lean on a parent. Good movie!

Good movie. A little hokey for our current era but in 1982 this movie was considered really scary! The special effects in this film are still outstanding! I still really enjoy it because the storyline is exceptional as well. Steven Spielberg and Tobey Hooper are masters of their craft!

This movie is cruel and in particularly the Duke of Devonshire is a cruel man!! He marries a suspecting young woman and tries to control her using unthinkable tactics that include having a mistress in their home and right under her nose! He’s angry with the duchess because he wants an heir to the thrown but she gives him three daughters instead and then finally after he rapes her intensely she gets pregnant with the son he so desperately wants. Later in the film she gets pregnant with another son from her lover a man the Duke drove her to only to find the Duke to turn that son away from her during and after her confinement! He had that child’s father’s family come and claim the Duchess’s second son! Another tactic that makes it difficult to watch this film. The only constant this woman has is the love of a politician her second son’s father who adores her and the love of her children whenever she gets to see them! Her mother is ignorant and wants her daughter to remain in a loveless marriage because she feels honored that the Duke wanted to take her daughter for his wife but the Duke is only interested in his hopes and dreams while he despises his wife for one reason or another which causes him to act cruel to her! However she and her husband’s mistress become friends in the end after all is said and done! The Duke is blasé unappealing with a flat affect personality! He’s mean spirited and has a difficult time expressing a love for anybody including his children! He is someone to pity not marry!! Ultimately I found this movie to be extremely sad down trotted cruel and ultimately unsatisfying!! I wouldn’t recommend it at all!!

In my opinion way better than the 1995 version. More detailed on all accounts! The actors fit each character precisely! The girls looked young enough to capture the essence of their characters. Not too young not too old!! Excellent adaptation!!

I give this movie 2 stars for the effort. I really like Nicole Kidman as an actress but I’m afraid she failed as Lucille Ball. However it could have been the director who failed to properly direct his cast including Nicole. I believe for the time spent on this movie more time should have been spent on their personal relationship off the set of I love Lucy. Or there should have been more time spent on how and why Lucy was labeled a communist. That part was rushed and it really didn’t make much sense to import that information into a movie during the filming of I love Lucy. Perhaps the audience on the set found out this way but to disclose that information during the filming of this movie was unnecessary. Overall this movie could have been a lot better for the material they had to work with. The actors had zero chemistry with each other. I believe chemistry has a lot to do with the success of a film especially a biographical one! Finally from the two screen test I viewed between the two actresses chosen to play Lucy I personally believe Debra Messing may have been the better choice. She’s a comedian like Lucy and she looks and sounds exactly like her. In her screen test she plays Lucy performing a vitamin commercial. That particular episode in I Love Lucy is classic. Nicole Kidman is more of a dramatic actress who really didn’t fit this part.

Dick Wolf and company has done it again with the Law & Order franchise. Law & Order Organized Crime is absolutely magnificent! One of the best shows on prime time television! Christopher Meloni is still a favorite as Eliott Stabler. Danielle Mone Truit is excellent as his boss. Dylan McDermott also excellent as an organized crime boss in season 1 and this show gets even better in season 2 as a new crime organization emerges! Well done! 👏🏽

Good but a bit disturbing. The story is fantastic as is the acting but some of the premise is very disturbing. For example the mother daughter thing and how they relate to one another. I guess I always look for the good in everybody which makes me a consummate dreamer! I wouldn’t recommend this movie to a child audience. However I can see where adults would enjoy it immensely.

Absolutely amazing! I love the fact that we get to see and understand how Jesus touched the lives of those who knew and directly interacted with Him while He took on human form. But this series is so much more than that. They were regular everyday people with everyday problems just as things are right now. This gives one the sense that people during Jesus’ days acted just as people do in present day so one can definitely relate to their life’s difficulties just as we relate to our own difficulties now and Jesus is there to help see us through them. It tells the stories of many in layman terms which can be beneficial to most viewers. We get background stories of those who is directly associated with Jesus. Absolutely stunning. Beautifully written told and executed. Yes I highly recommend this series.

Absolutely great! This is a really good movie and it’s exactly like the cartoon! The only difference is there’s people of color in this version which I definitely can appreciate! So I don’t understand why it was rated at only 67% when it should have been rated 87% at the minimum!
