Honestly speaking... this was a great movie for children & the parents who watched along. The characters were relatable; although I didn’t appreciate the low key sexual context as related to the birth of Lil Diamond. I felt that was a bit much; although unfortunately right on par with Hollywood & the LGBTQ communities of which many ppl identify as one in the same. Other than that, it was awesome! The story line covered several viewpoints from disparities in the music industry as it relates to genre differentials, to aspects of world imperialism & those who take the stand against it. The cast represented some of the best entertainers in the music & entertainment industry; paying homage to past & present groups & artists. The soundtrack was a-mazing! The fact that Justin Timberlake had a hand in it was not surprising. ALL of the music was 🔥!!! The mashups & individual focus on different genres was impeccable. There are quite a few laugh-out-loud comedic moments that help with the flow of the movie & it didn’t last forever! Great sequel. You will not be disappointed. For a $20 holler that gives you 2-days worth of streaming... AND it’s a good, happy, funny movie I can watch at home with my entire family??😏Not bad! 👍🏼👍🏼
