This book starts out amazingly, but at about the 2/3rd mark, it is absolutely incapable of carrying the momentum and ends in a disappointing manner. I am particularly peeved at how it completely wastes its awesome macabre murders by not giving an explanation for how gruesome they were. The murders could’ve been done in a much simpler way, and the conclusion would’ve stayed the same. Which sucks because I’m an absolute fan of media that takes super messed up crimes and gives every bit of impossible detail and evidence a purpose, to really have you think of every element and try to put all the weird stuff together. And I thought this book would do that but no, all those elements are pretty much forgotten near the end and are replaced by an explanation that pretty much comes out of a left field.
