Zenith Roy

An evergreen story of true friendship enriched with good performances and made eternal with the fantastic music by Rajesh Roshan. Each of the 6 songs is a treat. One major novelty of tge film was the picturisation of an entire song on Amjad Khan. The comedy that enlivens a sizeable part of the first half does really tickle your funny bones. Though I had atched the film way back in my early boyhood, I remember it vividly. I was and am a great fan of Mr. Bachchan. I still remember how crazily I had pestered my parents to gift me the bulb-fitted dress worn by him in the song "Sara Zamana" 😀

Without going into the technical nitty-gritty and irrespective of the 6 point something rating, "The Debt" is a thoroughly watchable thriller with elements of human drama and a love triangle mixed in. Reommended for everyone who loves a decent thriller with a taut script and convincing performances.
