It's the most predictable "twist" ending that I've ever seen. It's so predictable that I was like "Man they are playing that up way too hard. I can't wait to see what the twist actually is!" Well it's just that ending. Hate to ruin it for you. It's telegraphed from the very first scene that doesn't have rabbits in it, and the film ham handedly beats your head against it for the rest of the movie.
Having said that, it is a fun movie to watch. The comedy is thrown in into the mix masterfully. The acting is great. The editing seemed spot on. It's a solidly constructed film.
There is a solid case that the narrative is an investigation into what it means to live in a first world country, where even the lowliest of us, lives a life built off the suffering of others. That seemed like an interesting thread woven into the story, and that kept me going through everything after the first 20 minutes or so.
