I wanted it to be good and interesting. Instead it was "cool" or "ironic" portrayals of violent deaths in so so many ways, including bystanders as well as the obvious bad guys, having iron bars run through their heads, decapitated, gutted, etc. And, as many other reviews said, there'd be a movie line, a deep thought, a sly glance, then off to devastate the next roman marble bust or treasure from antiquity as unfortunate collateral damage from fighting the villain. Yeah, I get it, it's CGI, but it's still very uncool to be this arrogant.. Or is it a brilliant commentary on the hubris of how we assume we can hop in and out of other countries at will?
