A faithful adaptation of the source material with intelligent liberties taken with changes. As a book fan, would like some more of the saturated conversational pieces between characters to have a longer stay. Enjoying the world building with the episodic pace of the anthology of short stories, each episode having its own identity. Overall, excellent work by the leads, especially Henry. Some of the best sword play to date, horrific creatures, memorable individuals and a contentious world full of hatred, xenophobia, sexism and abuse of power. True to the roots of its writing. Excited for the second season!
