This film is a MUST for fans of New Orleans and traditional jazz music! Director Cameron Washington has given us the tale of local legend, trumpeter Leroy Jones. His story is set against the back drop of New Orleans jazz history, and includes interviews with many prominent musicians, including Harry Connick Jr. I personally have been a fan of Leroy Jones and his sweet trumpet sounds for a long time, but I was completely in the dark on his story. The film fills us all in, and is a treat to watch!
