We as a society, we as a people of supposed compassion, in today’s world, should understand that this film was making a point; we should not overlook those who do not have “more”, those who seem “odd”, those who seem distantly lonely in our “big” world. We all need help, in different ways, some more compassion and understanding. This movie made its point, and made a point of showing just how talented an actor Joaquin Phoenix is.
