The continual screeching and wailing throughout the film diluted any ominous threat promised by the overdramatic soundtrack. The characters were wooden and soulless. A "that'll do" script prevented it from measuring up to the bars set by previous films in this genre. If it was meant to be a statement on female empowerment or toxic masculinity it failed on both counts. Maybe a bit more graphic gore and the odd killer comedy line might have saved it, even if it did push the film into the horror/comedy genre.
Nothing anybody hasn't seen before...just done badly.

Why is it that so many people have to include spoilers in their critiques? Just tell us what you thought of the film, not what' in it. It's not creative, it's not a thought out critique, it's just you telling us what happened.
