I read the book and saw the movie. I thought it did a great job telling the story. The scenery was beautiful and the story still captivated me, even though I knew the story. It is a movie that should be seen and discussed. Acting was spot on. The only thing that bugged me was the mention of Asheville being two hours away. Who by-passes Raleigh to go to Asheville?
