I've not quit a book before...But I am done. The main characters are intriguing and easy to like. But I did not appreciate the political undertones and the last third of the book just talked about composers of ww2 time. If you are not familiar with them or other famous figures of Hollywood during the late 30s and early 40s....this could be a difficult read. The summary was very intriguing at first, but I struggled.
