You may find this book uncomfortable in some places but cathartic in others (sometimes in the same places), but it may give you an idea or three about ways of releasing emotions constructively. It makes it very clear that (a) physical sensations in our bodies are often the direct result of what we are feeling, especially in otherwise repressed ways (the concept behind the title), and (b) that discovering how to release emotions, often repressed anger about trauma, in a controlled way is more often than not absolutely key to being a more relaxed and mature person and more able to enjoy life.
