I would've liked it better if it ended better and if there was an actual victory for Sandler's Character.
Sandler did a great job in this role. But damn....
So much arguing and bickering that it would've been nice to see the ending be different. This movie needed a win at the end... other than the final winning bet.
So.... boom? Shoot the guy at the end? Then his shop gets ransacked? The guys he was indebted to could have done this at any point in the movie if they needed to be paid back asap as the storyline suggested. It seemed dumb that they waited for his bets to come to fruition until the very end. I didn't understand the writing, or timing, or the irrelevant colonoscopy. He is a stressed character. But if he actually had a negative result from the colonoscopy, then it could have made for a much better ending bc it would have opened up the possibilities of different endings with a celebration that he recovered from a possible illness and also gained back the safety for his family after winning big on the game.
