Why weren't there subtitles translating the French speaking scenes which were half of the movie? Please work on this. I did get the just of what was being said just through body launguage but I'd love to watch it again and know what the french were saying. Great movie other than that. Briar and Mason were great actors.

I would've liked it better if it ended better and if there was an actual victory for Sandler's Character. Sandler did a great job in this role. But damn.... So much arguing and bickering that it would've been nice to see the ending be different. This movie needed a win at the end... other than the final winning bet. So.... boom? Shoot the guy at the end? Then his shop gets ransacked? The guys he was indebted to could have done this at any point in the movie if they needed to be paid back asap as the storyline suggested. It seemed dumb that they waited for his bets to come to fruition until the very end. I didn't understand the writing, or timing, or the irrelevant colonoscopy. He is a stressed character. But if he actually had a negative result from the colonoscopy, then it could have made for a much better ending bc it would have opened up the possibilities of different endings with a celebration that he recovered from a possible illness and also gained back the safety for his family after winning big on the game.

Oh. You know.... just still wondering why it is ok for blacks to name a show Dear White People but if it were a Caucasian show and was called Dear Blacks or African Americans it would be a racist show to it's very core. Which is sad. I am actually well traveled, and well educated along with our whole team!
