It would have been easy to miss this movie perusing what to watch next. I am reminded there are many great movies written and directed outside the US. A lovely period piece that was uplifting in goodness and kindness despite pain, tragedy and social disparity. Exceptional cinematography and directing. I am sure to reflect back on the story and musical score in the days to one. Thank you Netflix for all the international work you bring to the US audience!
