Funny in places, just silly in many places, but easy to watch. Quite a few reasonably good smaller part actors in it, tonnes of swearing, a lot unnecessary, would be funnier if bit less swearing- make it part of the comedy, not comedy part of the swearing

Would absolutely give these series of outnumbered a 5 star up to the Christmas 2024 episode, up until then absolutely great, funny, life life episodes that we can likely all relate to who have kids, but the Christmas episode this year was not good in my opinion, not as good acting, they’d lost their family unit sparkle, kids lost their character traits and the storyline was badly chosen, and tbh not well told being such a sensitive and serious subject for many, including myself, who decided a Christmas special would bell include a cancer diagnosis, honestly, of all the themes that could have been chosen to be in a comedy special 🤷‍♀️. Assuming the writers and cast got a bit lost when bringing these lot back together after the length of time passed. Think there’s likely a few disappointed viewers after that Boxing Day episode 😵‍💫

Yes he’s been utterly stupid, a main tv personality and presenter being very very stupid, but I kinda enjoyed this programme, yes there were a fair few self pitying moments, but on the whole i found it as honest as possible, I don’t particularly think it’ll spring him back in to popularity, but not sure he wants that now, who really knows. But, for the programme 5 stars on the beauty of the island, the wildlife and the funny bits, it was only the moments of total self absorption of woe is me that did keep coming that made it sometimes a tad hmmm. Though, i do think it’s about time to let this go now and let him move on.

Absolutely brilliant series, clever, quick witted, funny, very realistic 80’s vibes, takes you back to teenage years, seen the series loads of times, it’s great for cheering you up. Well written comedy, fab actors, young Alan is so so funny and great at being Alan Carr you’d believe it really could be him as a kid!

What a great series, I love Brassic, it’s probably up there with my top favourite programmes ever. Funny in a different way, not cheesy, not that predictable either, fast moving, clever and brilliantly acted by every single actor, I’ve watched this whole set of series several times and still find it just as good every time. The only thing slightly off, which is literally very little in the grand scheme, is the name of the location town/village is Hawley, apparently named after Chorley in Lancashire, and it doesn’t have even a vague resemblance, unless it’s the very outskirts towards Blackburn. However makes zero difference in the fact it’s just fab!

Hmmm or zzzzz. Can’t decide, but I persevered with it, it’s ok, not great, just ok, some ok acting sometimes, some predictable typical soap acting other times.the ending was not good and a bit cheesy too. Definitely wouldn’t watch through again, but has taken up 6 hours of a lot of spare time I’ve had being ill.
