Excellent game. Still holds up in 2024 as one of the best VR games of all time.

Personally my least favorite movie in the Hunger Games series. While most of the main characters came off as unlikable & unrelatable, there were still some interesting plot twists and good character development.

Coming from someone who’s never watched any of the iconic Star Wars films and knows nothing about the lore, the story in this game is phenomenal. The gameplay feels like a combination of Titanfall 2’s movement and physics, Uncharted’s dramatic live cutscenes, God of War’s abilities and powers, and Sekiro’s punishing combat mechanics. This game is extremely challenging. Even on the medium difficulty, I struggled and died more times than I’d like to admit, but I had a lot of fun with this game’s semi-open world and would recommend it to anyone. It’s a unique and well polished experience you simply cannot miss. Even if you’re not a fan of Star Wars, this game is one of the best.

I’m don’t usually watch Netflix, but I was with my girlfriend one night and saw the preview to this and it looked interesting. After watching the movie I can honestly say, even though the preview looks great, it doesn’t do this masterpiece justice. It exceeded my expectations in every way from the plot, music, and character development. I can hardly believe this actually happened in 1989. If you put yourself in these kids shoes, especially Korey, you can’t escape the feeling of helplessness they must have experienced after being failed and falsely accused by the flawed justice system we have in the USA. I’m really glad I gave this one a chance!

I can’t speak for the standard version but this is one of the best VR games to date. It’s a basic platformer with simple combat mechanics and puzzles, but it’s very well polished. While the gameplay is nothing extraordinary, the voice acting, writing, and art style make this game unique. Justin Roiland does not disappoint and I personally had to pause the game several times to laugh and reflect on some of the jokes. If you’re a fan of Rick and Morty, or that specific genre of comedy, you will appreciate this game even more.
