The story revolves around a love triangle with a happy ending. It also beautifully captures the sentiment of an artist — a singer whose talent and passion prove that physical limitations should never define one’s spirit. While the plot itself is simple and straightforward, the real emotional impact comes from seeing Zubeen Garg — talking, singing, and performing — as if he were still with us. It’s no surprise that many in the hall were moved to tears, their hearts filled with memories and love for the departed legend. I’d rate the film 3.5 out of 5, mainly for its effort to modernize Assamese cinema and for Zubeen’s convincing portrayal of a blind character. It’s a short film, but one worth watching — not just for its story, but as a heartfelt tribute to the evergreen icon, Zubeen Garg. That said, it would have been even more meaningful if the filmmakers had included his photo at the beginning as a mark of respect and remembrance.
