I turned to my 7 year old at the end of the movie and asked him if he liked it, his response: "It wasn't too bad." Children never lie. The special effects are fantastic, but the music and cast fell short of the original. It's a shame because the movie could have had so much more potential. It was great to see James Earl Jones back but the other characters were not matched as well as the original. I'll give it 2.5/5
