Probably the safest monster movie ever made for young children and a great i broad ntroduction to the Goosebumps universe.
Yes, there are some fake out jump scares and some menacing monsters/scenery, but I think for most kids it will skillfully ride that thin line between fun scary and frighting (leaning further into fun scary).
