start of movie is great but its almost infuriating how it is written as if the charaters have the brains of a goldfish. they continue to do the one thing they cant do and repeatedly say not to do. like over and over its the same thing leading to something bad. I feel like this is lazy writing because theres no way they cant brain storm another way to separate the characters than for them to decide (while level headed, trying to be strategic) to go on their own over and over and over despite knowing that is the one thing they cant do. its such a repetitive cycle that i had a hard time finishing it. good acting for the most part, but wither the writer or director must've been rushing to go home because what a boring, predictable, annoying way for the story to unfold. 4 stars is very generous given how much that ruined the movie

director overdoes the darkness setting, im 22 and have good eyes but cant see anything when they try to set that ambiance by eliminating all the lighting from their shots. the original GOT didnt have this problem, but i litterally need to shut off all the lights, close the windows and turn the brightness on max just to see the outlines of the characters. even then, my computer is pretty much just a black screen with dialogue playing. otherwise i like it, and the datime shots are good lighting and the story/characters are good but i dont get why they have a feast in a pitch black dark room as if anyone throws an indoor party where you might as well be blindfolded. im still early on into the show but i wont put time into it if its gonna just be a black screen the whole time.
