Anyone who’s watched Sherlock or Elementary will not enjoy this movie as it has copied many aspects of those brilliant series. The acting by Ramesh Aravind was sub par and it was quite shocking as he is a very good actor. With a budget of four crores, why couldn’t they have hired an actress who looks old enough to suit the age of the actor? The on screen couple look more like father and daughter than husband and wife. I was really expecting something great from an IMDb rating of 7.4 but this is certainly not worth it. The plot has many loopholes and the ending is odd. Oh, well.

It says 7+ on Netflix but the dialogues are seriously for adults. The story and characters are all adults. Barely any kids in a show meant for kids. There's a dialogue in season one, ep 2 between puss and the prisoners in jail about milkshake and how paguna, the bar keep makes them. Trust me, it's gross. she's an anthropomorphic cow and guess how she makes it? Apparently, it's uncomfortable and she needs to ice her "cow parts" after making one. ( yes, there's a bar in this story, I'm sure kids need to learn about that at 7)

Watch if you have nothing else to watch. Ah, the typical millennial take on all things sacred to comics. First, it was riverdale and now it's sabrina. Looks like anyone who's never read the archie or sabrina comics will probably like this take on the original. Should we purposely make things darker and darker? The comics spread joy,cheer and adolescent emotions in the right manner but this? Omg. Sure, let's have a "realistic" take on the comic but should the TV series openly promote gore, violence, murder, ritual sacrifice etc...? Not to mention, the parody of many Christian ideals and biblical references. At times the show even promoted the idea of being selfish, greedy,wanton and lacking remorse for almost any horrid act (blackwood, zelda or anyone from the church of night) I'd never recommend the show for anyone under 15, pregnant women and for anyone who has mental ailments. This show is like a horror movie that never ends. The only salvagable parts are the acting chops of Lucy Davis, Shipka and few other cast members. The plot is good albeit satanic and very grim. I'd pass and move on to anything else.
