I remember being so excited for 'Chanda Mama door ke' as it would've been India's first space film. I had seen pictures of Sushant undergoing his training at NASA and I thought to myself that he would do a great job portraying his character. But alas, never got to hear of the film anymore...and now we'll never find anyone as intelligent and passionate about the universe as Sushant to star in India's first space film.

I wasn't an avid reader before I started "A thousand splendid sun's", but soon after I finished, I felt I have watched the best movie in my life. The masterful storytelling, the power with which the emotions, humour, reality is described by Khalid is enormous and it will leave you awestruck for a long time. I was too ignorant of the crisis led by wars until I read the book. It will surely move you with it's heartbreaking story which is yet a reality for many women and children in war-struck countries. Highly recommend.
