I loved it from beginning to end. Its a story of manhood in multiple directions. Not just physical manhood which we all expect, but manhood in mind, spirit, emotions. Admitting what is wrong in our relationships or goals and seeking to set them right. The storyarc going back to Rocky IV could have used more work. Nonetheless, we get insight what happened to Ivan Drago after his loss to Rocky and embarrassment of the Soviet Union. Adonis's relationship with his wife played by the very attractive Tessa Thompson whom I hope we see in other movies reminded me of Adrianne and Rocky. More time given to Phylicia Rashad, his mother and wife of Apollo Creed, added a layer of personal depth to the story. This is about men finding themselves. Rocky, Adonis, even Ivan Drago. I recommend Creed II.
