No, just no. It was bad. There were some nice acting moments. There were beautiful costumes, props & scenery. & The early scene of Cyrano verbal & physically sparing at the theatre gave me hope for the show but - no. It's almost like any weird over the top idea any one offered the director said "yeah,cool, lets do that"! Ballet couples in the street, dancing soldiers in training & Writhing rubbing of letters on her (Roxanne's) body - just too much. The music was clunky & not interesting at all. It would have been a much better straight film.
