Started out intriguing. An unusual series about clean characters that spout wisdom as though they were all cultured by a religious pastor.
But then, the show gets increasingly boring and monotonous, cringy, and forcedly trying to be edgy with a smattering of nightly alcoholism and sexiness.
The lighting and camera work is nice, but this show displays a hideous fashion, especially on the women. Sequins, belts, puffy sleeves, floral nonsense, bright colors and tacky conglomerates of distracting and unnecessary wardrobes.
The dialogues all sound like a woman wrote the lines. The male actors appear to cringe as they spout out their lines of insincere cheesiness and feminism.
On a more positive note, I appreciate what they’re trying to do. It’s relatively clean with good intention. And hey, we need that.
