It is an amazing game and one of the best experiences if you are a pokemon fan. Don't let the reviews fools you. Yes there are some FPS drops here and there but nothing in comparison with other games on the switch that has way more graphical issues and are reviewed better. For me, I am having a blast with the game and it actually feels like an open world game where you can go wherever you want. I totally recommend it.
