I was really looking forward to watching Guardians of the Galaxy volume 3. Unfortunately, I was shockingly disappointed by the poorly written script, directing, and amateurish repetitive forced angry acting. It was hard to believe that these are the same actors who were so brilliant in the first two Guardians of the Galaxy movies. They lacked chemistry and at times struggled to be true to their character. The Rocket origin story line was interesting, but much of the rest of the movie was predictable and many scene concepts were borrowed from the previous two movies. Even most of the soundtrack was weak. This movie lacked imagination and skilled writing. The quality of Guardians of the Galaxy volume 3 was on par with the cheesy Christmas special. Marvel should have left this dud on the shelf to preserve the legendary legacy of Guardians of the Galaxy volumes 1 & 2.

This series should be retitled Star Trek Discovery of Feelings. What a sappy soap opera! This is what happens when special interest groups hijack the writing of this once well written sci-fi franchise that knew how to address social justice issues in sophisticated well-written screenplays without dragging down the action and adventure with weak characters and never ending wimpy emotional character interplay.
