As one who has visited Farley Farm many times, I’m glad I saw this film but …. I agree that Kate Winslett did not ring true as the slim attractive model that Lee Miller was. I too found the constant lighting up of cigarettes irritating - half as much would have been perfectly adequate! Although the film is relatively short, it did seem to drag in parts, I was wishing they’d get on with the story! And knowing that the photos were only found after her death (as stated at the end of the film…) I was confused by the “interview” scenario. But if this brings Lee Miller to the attention of many who may not have heard of her I guess the film will have served some purpose.
