Rich tribute to Tanaji's valour and supreme sacrifice to the cause of Swaraj and Swami Nishtha (Loyalty towards Chh. Shivaji Maharaj). We almost choked on a few occasions. Climax is Ajay Devgn has elevated himself with this movie. Kajol steals the show towards end. Saif looks convincingly cunning and has aptly portrayed Udaybhan. Sharad Kelkar is now the yardstick for Shivaji Maharaj's role. A few historical errors: 1. Tanaji had used a large monitor lizard (Yashwanti) to climb the fort. Movie shows he used a net. 2. Udaybhan killed Tanaji when Tanaji tried to stop the canon (Toaph). Later Shelar Mama killed Udaybhan.
