Are most of the positive reviews paid Disney employees? I fell asleep in this movie and it is very hard for me to fall asleep in public! My 13 yr. old son who always likes to keep a positive spin on things turned to me during the movie (whilst I was awake) and said ‘this is terrible!’. No character development, strange things happening that don’t make much sense, and not outright woke, but strongly implied. The young men of the island look at Maui as he sings like they are in love with him, and one of the more main characters who is a young man, fanatically admires Maui, and places his hands over Maui’s nipples, which scene turns into one of Maui’s tattoos. The one good thing about the movie is the graphics. Pretty great graphics. Other than that, uninspired, boring, and Disney yet again trying to push an agenda in the most subtle way possible.
