How did this get nominated for so many awards? The music is god awful and nobody behind the project cared about the culture they were representing, the director’s comments should make that obvious. Also, although I’m not fluent in Spanish, my folks who can understand and to an extent speak it claim the accents are off. This entire movie just seems like Oscar bait and nothing more. Somehow this movie insulted multiple groups of people including the groups it was trying to represent. I feel sorry for all the movies that got skimmed over in favor of rewarding whatever this was.

This show is downright depressing to watch. It gives me the same dread and lack of faith in the world as watching a bunch of true crime for days on end. You either have to be obsessed with Mr Beast or turn off the empathy in your brain to enjoy this show, and even then there are plenty of more entertaining shows to watch. I can name no reasons to pick this show over anything else. Mr Beast made Squid Games in real life without the murder but completely forgot the entire moral of Squid Games. If you can, don’t support this show or its creator.
