I really didn't like this book. He's a talented writer, but I feel he's missed the mark on almost everything in this book. First he's extremely condescending to just about EVERYONE he writes about in his book. He holds him self in a self righteous know-it-all attitude. He down talks so many things in this book that he literally has no experience in. About 90% of the time when he describes his hiking experience is negative and drudgery. His fills half the book with random facts about random thing not remotely related to the Application Trail. Probably because he didn't hike the whole thing. He skips through the trail in parts and quits when his skips to the end. I felt totally ripped off by this book.
