It might be worth seeing for the stunning scene of Carrera marble. Felicity Jones also managed to breathe life in a half-written character. Brody carried on where he’d left off in The Pianist but without the tight writing and good direction (though it pains me to give nasty Polanski a compliment). But this movie is an indulgent mess with half-developed stories and poor character development. The director must have some seriously good friends to have been allowed to make this.
