Very talented actors and an absolutely horrific undercurrent of war crimes. That being said, the movie leaned a surprising amount into the romance aspect, especially towards the end, that I don't feel added much to it. Willem Dafoe playing a grade-A baddie as usual and did a phenomenal job, but the wrap-up is lacking in my opinion. That being said, Oscar Isaac carries the stoic tortured protagonist home the whole while and I did enjoy the complexities behind the character.
