Weirdly not as satisfying as we’d thought it be 3 kids under 10 and 4 adults .. missed opportunities . too unnecessary scary in some areas for our 5 yr old, too much wingeing dialogue between father and son in place of cadenced paced animation and not enough interaction or follow through with potential of living on an awesome planet or mum character ! Like the attempts to be inclusive but still a movie about alpha men men getting in the way of alpha men father/son thing.. I mean the eye!! Can we not have some interaction with the eye!

Only negative .. More swearing than I had anticipated - shame for a 12a rating movie - a bit much for an 11 yr old tbh; but fab film and story.. so lovely with a bit of everything in it .. A bit like the film animated film ‘Onward’ in sentiment!! … sons missing fathers etc …. but from a time travel perspective with baddies ! Awesome !
