Disappointing. Watched to the end but with no real interest. Given the talented actors involved I am not sure why I found it so unconvincing. It seemed to lack pace with the personal elements of characterisation somewhat forced. I've not read any of his books so can't say if the production reflects the book. I wouldn't watch a 2nd series.
