The visuals in this film were quite nice. However, the story was very pointless and bland. Also, the ending makes the entire journey pointless. Obviously through the journey, the characters learned about themselves, but the story was quite confusing and boring to keep up with. I feel as though I wasted two hours of my evening watching this film. I wish I could help myself to a hand grenade for wasting time on this film. I was expecting more considering it’s coming from Wes Anderson, but this film was almost like a parody of a Wes Anderson film. Would recommend for visuals, would not recommend for the actual plot. Have to give this one star.
