I would give it 0 stars if I could. Horrible horrible horrible compared to the book. Gave no insight into what each character was dealing with, super shallow characters, changed super important parts from the book. Just a waste of time. It was nothing like the book and was just horrible. I’m sad because I love Makenna grave and mason Thames but this is a movie I will never ever watch again. Extremely disappointing. Why even make an adaptation from book to movie if you change everything from the book? I wish I never read the book, maybe that would have made the movie enjoyable? Idk I wanted to walk out half way through. No mention of the film project? Clara’s persistent passion to act and how much her mom was against it? Every single scene was different from the book I don’t understand why they wouldn’t just make a different movie. Waste of time. Dont read the book and maybe you will be able to enjoy it.
