As someone who knows a lot about the facts of Ed Gein based on newspaper articles, reports, and witness accounts, this is the worst show I’ve ever watched. I was really looking forward to it and couldn’t wait for October 3—but boy, was I disappointed, to say the least. It was an absolutely terrible attempt to recreate the story of Ed Gein. The way he talked was completely inaccurate (you can listen to actual recordings of Ed Gein’s real voice on YouTube). They made him seem like a womanizer, when in reality, he was a recluse and a hermit. There are too many inaccuracies to name, honestly. Absolutely awful series! Two thumbs way down!!!
