Having been someone who had written Elvis off during his movie days, I became a big fan again while I was watching this special. Elvis never looked or sounded better. He was back before an audience again and in his element. Gone were the crappy, corny movies, and back was the King of Rock and Roll! It is so profound that I still smile each time I rewatch it. For those who are not aware of Elvis's career, and think he's an old relic of the past, I urge you to see this show; It's Rock and Roll history.
