Honeslty I think this film is disrespectful to anyone who has ever considered suicide. The film portrayed finch as quite a happy go lucky character, granted it touched on his dad giving him a beating. But you show me any adult born in 80s/90s who's dad wasn't hands on with them. Thats why our generation is made of solid stuff. But what he got called a freak twice and put his thoughts on post it notes. If your going to make a film about someone killing themselves it should of been alot more relatable and he should of been portrayed as alot more troubled. Only message this film gives out is if your having a slightly bad time in life then just jump in a lake honestly the disrespect and lack of character about this film is a joke. Got gen z written all over it
