Its oscar bait the anime it juggles far too many themes without having any real point to make, any sense of conflict is held back by the fact that it tries way too hard to sell its soundtrack the music's fine and the visuals are great but the narrative suffers from taking way too many shortcuts and insulting representation (when its not pandering)

Pretty hot garbage The action is appreciable but the "drama" is tangibly awful, RT continues to put out casually misogynistic work. Absolute waste of an all star cast On the other hand watching this project be the (several million dollar) straw that breaks the RTs independence from warners back is incredibly entertaining. Gray getting fired, the lay offs, the increase in subscription pricing are morbidly hilarious. Its all down hill from here
