I am strongly ambivalent regarding the News Hour. I watch every week day because I want to know what is going on in my country and the world. When the News Hour informs me about real situations and facts I appreciate it. When you " balance" your political coverage with representatives of any side who present little but self-aggrandizing propaganda I frankly don't like it at all. It looks to me like an embarrassing and maybe cowardly attempt to cover yourself that reinforces our national problem of severe confusion. I strongly don't want to hear politicians (or others) who can't stick to facts and refrain from telling us that they (or their party) are virtuous and doing a great job. I want to hear what's happening alright. I don't want to hear a cover story That doesn't inform me and I don't want to listen to this or support any program giving cover stories a podium.
