The show is generally excellent, but there should be ways of making the exit easier on each episode's eliminated bakers. There are options. Each eliminated baker could be presented with a certificate as they leave, like "Kid's Fifth best Baker for 20--" etc. Also , no one might be eliminated on the first episode of each year, and then two bakers could leave every other episode. Perhaps, no one could leave until the the seventh episode. All seven bakers could then be presented with certificates before leaving. The winner would be selected from the final three bakers on the final season episode. These procedures would avoid the heartbreak of having young children walking out alone after being voted off the show. Another twist, as on "Project Runway", could be to have former bakers return as assistants to the remaining contestants. These suggestions are made in order to avoid having the bakers feel like "losers" after achieving so much to have progressed to episodes of the show. Food for thought!
